In 2016, Peter Swain came up with the idea of developing an electric vehicle platform for classic cars. He wanted to bring the cars of the past into the present with modern technology, while staying true to the look and feel that make them so widely loved.

Peter worked with major Tier One suppliers for six years on research and development. The result was Spirit. It is a fully patented, homologated, and safe electric integrated system.

Through the RBW brand, Peter has brought new electric classic cars to the road and sold them globally. They receive incredible reviews for “driving feel and fun” – things that can be lost in modern EVs. Spirit is the system that captures the true sports car driving experience
